While Disney’s rewrite the fairy tales history
To mask the ignorance of a sorcerer’s apprentice
The ‘pantoufle de vair’ never meant the crystal shoes
Of the likes that the pole-dancers today wear
But was the old medieval French name for suede slipper
But pumpkins are recycled to the Halloween wares
And magical carriages past midnight turn into bins
We will have time to ponder about our virtual virtuous world
When we will soon be sent back to our gaols of man-made fears
