And Notting Hill Carnival has succumbed to fear
The BLM demos drew many people but to what avail
Carnival has been here for the same reasons since a long time
And the dead it celebrated were no lesser
Virtual Carnival is just pandering to an authority
That has done little or none for the cause
Remember the first events were illegal
So you may measure tomorrow what we have lost
