It is a long and straight road from Accra ,Ghana to Lomé, Togo
Small shops flourish at the corner of the corn fields, the farmer’s pocket
They sell the corn, repair a bicycle tyre and all the odd food and goods
The iron wire, rubber band and cello-tape roadside self-help
A do-it-almost-yourself business and social network local combine
And the clouds they fly over in their majestic parade, but never stop
