Like a printer gone bad colors bleeds and ink blots
The street fills with blackened black people, double black faces
But this is for the just cause in remembrance of the slaving times
Civil wars and democratic talk changed little indeed for the victims
It changed their name into proletary and coal replaced molasses
Slaves could not compete with the Industrial Revolution
They just became obsolete, segregated and exploited labour
