Each week brings its own share of stormy weather
While I wander in London I often end up on the Millennium Bridge
Where the weather puts on a show for the gawkers and the harrowed commuters
The weather does not care about who you are and how heavy your heart is
It will send its squalls and gusts to test if you are made of sugar
The meek and mellow shall melt right here in the middle of the bridge
A stark reminder of the biblical statues of salt
A sound advice for the lost and the wanderers
Don’t look back, unless like Eurydice you made the choice…
