In a foreboding world of forbidden dreams
We need masks to hide our unspeakable fantasies
And a winged imagination to escape the rules of dystopia
It is this threatening meta-thing that we need to fight
We can be the cuddly teddy bear strategically nudged
Waiting at the behest of a cute handler’s whims
Or we can pretend to be both
While we grow sharp claws to defend our freedom
